15 poor families from West Bengal had travelled to Someshwar Nagar, Bangalore as their family members were receiving treatment at Kidwai Oncology Centre. In wake of the lockdown all of them got stuck in Bangalore and with the passing of time their struggles to arrange food for themselves were increasing. The urgent requirement of these families was registered on the CoWin network and forwarded to a local NGO registered on the portal. The volunteers of NGO Seema, Vinod and Sitata helped procure groceries and ration kits which were then delivered to the 15 families by CoWin warriors Nirmala and Karthik.
