Madhuri Namata and her family, from Barabazar, Rajapara, Prurlia, West Bengal, used to depend on their daily earnings for all their day-to-day needs of life. In wake of the lockdown the family was in crisis and needed assistance with supplies to continue feeding themselves. Sumit Kumar Sah, who runs an NGO by the HOPE Trust in the area which is also registered on the I-CAN portal was notified of the family’s need. He delivered food packets (containing Rice, Pulse, Oil, Salt and Potatoes) to the family, fulfilling their needs.
