Mr. Ashok Chalak was one among the 130 residents of village Lahuri Grampanchayat, in Beed district in Maharashtra, who were daily wage labourers. Some of them were quite aged and some widows, but all were in dire poverty and needed ration & essential supplies to continue sustaining themselves. Their need was registered on India Co-win Action network and forwarded to our warrior Subhodh Dharaskar, in Maharashtra. Subhodh, took assistance from warrior Ameya and coordinated with the local representative of Bheed to make sure that eation and essential food supplies, enough to last at least a month, are delivered to all 130 people as soon as possible.
