In Bagmundi, Purulia, West Bengal Mr Anadamoy Mukherjee, an old man dependent on daily earnings, was struggling with the lockdown. He had run out of medication prescribed to him and had no ration, with no money to buy either of them. His need was registered on the I-CAN portal and taken up by our warrior Beauti in Purlia. Beauti provided the old man with essential supplies and the required medicines, with the help of a local ngo HOPE Trust, ensuring his survival.
