Om vijay navjeevan maharaj charitable trust Mumbai, is an NGO under the Co-Win action network . They identified that many people in Jyoti nagar and Vijay nagar area of Dombivli east who were all daily wagers and finding it hard to feed themselves in the lockdown. The city is under a strict lockdown because of rising COVID infections and government assistance has not reached these people. The NGO decided to step in and set a cooked food distribution camp to help the poor in the area. So far 583 people have been fed by the NGO by providing food packets containing Soya rice pulao, ensuring they don’t have to stay hungry in this crisis.
