The Girijana Ujwal Yuvajana Development Society from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh is an NGO which recently joined the ICAN network. The organisation gained awareness that about 37 families of labourers who were stuck in Visakhapatnam with no work or food, all of whom were tribal. The organisation, through its resources, has procured food grains and other essential ration for all 37 families and has assisted them throughout this crisis.
