Abid, a resident of Ambedkar Camp, Trilokpuri J.J Colony, Delhi, is the only bread-earner in his family of 12 members, within which 4 were specially-abled. He worked at a Tailoring Shop in Mayur Vihar, however, for the last couple of months he had not received any salary and had spent all his savings trying to feed his family during this period. He reached out to the volunteers of Deepak Foundation, a local NGO, registered on the I-CAN Network. The NGO submitted his needs on the network and also coordinated delivery of essential ration and supplies to the house of the family in need.
