Prateek lived with his family of 7 members, wife, three children and parents in Burarani, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. He worked as a fitter in an industrial plant and was the sole earner in his family. However, in wake of the lockdown, Prateek had lost his job and his family was finding it hard to sustain themselves. They needed ration and groceries, which was registered on the I-CAN portal. Warrior Abhishek Kalra from Uttarakhand got to know about the family’s needs and started arranging ration for them. Soon enough he delivered groceries, enough to last one month, to the family in need.
